Terms of Use

Using the site

Use the site for yourself and for lawful purposes. Please do not try to break it or get around its limits, submit information that is not yours or is false, send forms by automated means, or copy the site’s logo, artwork or text without permission.

There are no customer accounts on this site. The staff sign-in is for Pure Joy Toys employees only, and trying to get into it without permission is not allowed.

Prices, availability and purchases

We do our best to keep prices, stock and photos accurate, but they can be wrong or change without notice, and an item shown as available can sell out before you check out.

Online checkout is handled securely by Shopify, our payment processor.

Refund policy

All sales are final, no refunds!

Buy lists

A buy list is a request, not an offer. Every price and payout shown is an estimate. The real offer is made in person, after a staff member checks each item’s condition and authenticity at the counter, and it can be different from what you saw on the site. We may decline any item, and nothing is bought until you and the store agree at the counter.

Email alerts

If you ask for back-in-stock or release alerts, we email you a confirmation link first and send alerts only after you click it. You can unsubscribe from any alert email with the link in it.

Text messaging terms

By signing up for texts from Pure Joy Toys, 6959 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238, and replying YES to our confirming text, you agree to receive text messages about items you have been selected to purchase at MSRP in a release drawing: your pickup dates and pickup code, a reminder on the last day of pickup if you haven't collected it, and a confirmation text once you've picked it up. Message frequency varies; you will usually hear from us only when you are selected. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. To stop, reply STOP at any time (STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE all work); we will confirm by text. To rejoin, reply START. For help, reply HELP. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your number.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will always be either. To the fullest extent Texas law allows, Pure Joy Toys is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have, or a liability we have, that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
